What is wedding guest shuttle?
A wedding guest shuttle is chauffeured transportation for invited guests between a hotel, ceremony, reception and agreed return stop. Houston Luxe Auto offers one 12-passenger Executive Sprinter, a six-passenger Cadillac Escalade and a seven-passenger Chevrolet Suburban. Standard online bookings reserve a selected vehicle by the hour; repeated runs or multiple vehicles need itinerary review and a written dispatch quote.

Wedding guest transportation starts with the guest list
A wedding arrival car and a guest shuttle solve different problems. An arrival car focuses on the couple or wedding party. A guest shuttle needs a passenger count for every departure, a ceremony arrival deadline and a clear plan for bringing people back after the reception.
Houston Luxe Auto offers a chauffeured Executive Sprinter for up to 12 passengers, a Cadillac Escalade for up to six and a Chevrolet Suburban for up to seven. The Sprinter is $175 per hour with a three-hour minimum. Smaller SUV hourly rates start at $110 for the Suburban with a two-hour minimum.
Start a wedding guest shuttle quote with the Executive Sprinter.
Choose a vehicle for the actual passengers on each leg
Count everyone riding, including children. A wedding party of 12 and another eight guests cannot travel together in one 12-seat vehicle. If your count changes during the day, send the highest count for each departure rather than just the total number invited.
| Vehicle | Maximum passengers on one run | Standard hourly minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Sprinter | 12 | Three hours at $175/hour: $525 |
| Cadillac Escalade | 6 | Two hours at $125/hour: $250 |
| Chevrolet Suburban | 7 | Two hours at $110/hour: $220 |
These minimum totals are before optional extras. Seat capacity does not establish luggage space or accessible boarding arrangements. Tell dispatch about overnight bags, strollers, equipment and any assistance needs before choosing the vehicle.
For a larger guest list, request a written plan. Additional vehicles and repeated runs have to be assessed against availability, travel time and the ceremony deadline. There is one Executive Sprinter in the published fleet; it cannot perform overlapping departures at different hotels.
Build the hotel, ceremony and reception schedule
Work backward from when guests need to be seated. Include the time to gather the group, board, travel, unload and reach the venue entrance. A hotel lobby address may not be the approved vehicle-loading entrance, and a reception venue may use a different exit after the event.
Send the following details in one itinerary:
- Each hotel or residence address and intended loading entrance.
- Passenger count for each departure, not only the total guest count.
- Ceremony address and the latest acceptable guest arrival time.
- Reception address, expected finish time and any early-return requests.
- Final drop-off addresses and the date of a return after midnight.
- A coordinator’s reachable phone number and any luggage or boarding needs.
Hotels and venues spread across Downtown Houston, the Galleria, The Heights and Sugar Land require different travel allowances. Ask dispatch to review the complete route before distributing shuttle times to guests.
An illustrative request, not a promised timetable
| Stage | What your coordinator should confirm |
|---|---|
| Hotel pickup | Guest assembly time, count, bags and loading entrance |
| Ceremony arrival | Seated-by deadline, passenger unloading point and walking allowance |
| Reception movement | Whether everyone rides together and whether a second run is feasible |
| Reception returns | Early and final departure requests, exact hotel stops and late-night contact |
This checklist is a planning example, not a completed customer trip or a guarantee that a particular schedule fits the minimum booking.
Decide between one continuous window and a custom shuttle schedule
The standard online hourly booking reserves the selected vehicle for a continuous duration. If you book from the hotel departure through the reception return, the time between those journeys is part of the reserved window. A three-hour booking is not an all-day wedding shuttle.
At the standard hourly rate, a five-hour Sprinter window is $875 and an eight-hour window is $1,400, before optional extras. Those are arithmetic examples, not special wedding packages. Ask dispatch to review a split schedule if you need a morning movement and a separate late-night return; do not assume that the second window or an unbooked extension is included.
Repeated guest runs, additional vehicles and customized packages need a written quote that identifies the stops, departure times, reserved hours and vehicles. Review that plan before sharing it with the wedding party or paying.
Keep arrival cars and airport pickups separate
For the couple’s Cullinan or arrival SUV, explore wedding car transportation. When you need both an arrival car and a guest shuttle, confirm each vehicle’s availability rather than assuming one booking covers both.
Guests arriving at IAH or Hobby before the wedding can request a Sprinter airport transfer. That is a one-way address-based quote, not the same pricing as an hourly wedding shuttle. Include the flight, passenger and luggage details for each airport group.
Get your wedding guest shuttle quote, then send the full timeline for dispatch review. For a smaller party, the booking form also offers the Escalade and Suburban with their own capacity and hourly minimums.
